Many athletes and parents have discussed starting a team for several years and with the help of many volunteers, this has become a reality for Spring 2016.
Our school district supports our team. As a result, athletes may letter on our team.
Our team is considered a non-profit club and is under the umbrella of Red Wing Community Recreation for registration, protocol, and financial saving and payments.
All our coaches are volunteers and take no salary. All money that athletes pay goes to fees and materials (clays, shells, team equipment). Sponsors have been generous! All sponsor funds are used to pay for additional gear, fees, awards, and food needed to run the team.
Athletes in grades 6 – 12 may participate. Students provide own shotgun—12 or 20 gauge. A Firearm Safety Certificate is required to be given to the Head Coach (Scott Kosek) when you register at our meeting.
Boys or girls may join the team. Scholarships are available. Contact Scott Kosek if a need exists.
We will practice / compete at the Hampton Gun Club on Sunday afternoons. Check this frequently for changes.
