What is Key Club?
Key Club 2017-2018 will meet on Thursdays during advisory at 9:27am in the library studio. Meetings may be service projects, planning, guest speakers or social functions. At least once per month there is a service project outside of the school day. Meetings are led by student leaders who are elected officers. Each grade also has a class representative.
Key Club is a year-round service organization, which is sponsored by the local Kiwanis Clubs composed of the leading business and professional people to the community. Key Club's objective is the development of initiative, leadership ability, and community service. Key Club is different because it functions not only on the local level but also on a district and international level as well. Key Club is the largest service organization of its kind with over 140,000 members in approximately 4,000 clubs.
To join Key Club, simply come to a meeting, fill out a short form and pay $15.00 dues. (Dues is waived for 8th graders.)
