Winger Activities Academic Eligibility Policy 2024-25

Regulations concerning eligibility for co-curricular activities including athletics, music, speech, robotics, and drama are based on the MSHSL rules and Red Wing Public Schools Academic and Discipline Policy. Policy Goals: Empower Student Achievement, Encourage Student Participation in Co-Curricular Activities, and Engage Positive Student/Teacher Relationships

Winger Activities Communication Protocol

Parenting, coaching, and advising are extremely difficult vocations. By establishing an understanding of each position, we are better able to accept the actions of the other and provide greater benefits to your child. When parents have a child involved in our programs, they have a right to understand what expectations are placed on them. This begins with clear communication from the coach or advisor.

Away Events (Conference Only)

Can't make the road game? Links to our conference school's streaming platform can be found here. Please note that some will stream Varsity events only.

Student Accident Insurance

Red Wing Public Schools is not responsible for any accidental injuries that occur to students while under the school’s supervision or participating in interscholastic sports.

Our School District has partnered with Student Assurance Services to give families the opportunity to purchase accident insurance for their student(s). When enrolled, this coverage provides financial assistance with your out-of-pocket medical expenses should your student sustain an accidental bodily injury.

Hiring Activity Workers

In an effort to streamline our hiring process for event and game workers and to recruit and retain interested and qualified employees, the Activities Department is adding game and event workers to a hiring pool.

Are you interested in helping out with our high school events and getting paid?  Our students get to participate, because we have event workers!

Please fill out the Activity Workers Google Form, if you are interested in working our high school events!
